About the Artist |
Janet has a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and worked in the banking industry for twenty years. While she has always reveled in painting and drawing, it was not until after her retirement in 2004 that she became interested in watercolors. Since then Janet has dedicated much of her time to learning the medium through workshops and practice. Her paintings have been accepted and awarded in Juried National Exhibitions. Janet is a signature member of the St. Louis Watercolor Society, the Missouri Watercolor Society and the Illinois Watercolor Society. |
